Seniors who remain productive after age 65 can be inspirational. However, there are some people who have continued to work past age 80, including a few famous actors. Your loved one may remember some of these Hollywood actors from when he or she was younger. Mesa elder care experts have listed 5 actors who show us seniors can remain active and productive past age 80.
1. Christopher Plummer
Best remembered for his role opposite Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music, Christopher Plummer, who was born on December 13th, 1929, is the oldest person to ever win an Academy Award. His most recent lead role was in the 2015 film Remember.
2. Clint Eastwood
Clint Eastwood’s most recent film was in 2012 when he played the lead role of Gus Lobel in Trouble with the Curve. Eastwood has since taken to directing with American Sniper in 2014 and Sully in 2016. This actor, who was born on May 31st, 1930, enjoys meditating, reading, and traveling.
3. Robert Duvall

He is already busy filming Four Kids and It even though he was born on March 14th, 1933, and is 83 years old. His performances in The Dark Knight, Inception, and The Prestige have already drawn a wide fan base. Caine attributes his ability to keep working to his healthy eating habits. He often cooks his own food, and he also enjoys working in his lush garden where he grows much of the food he eats.
5. Donald Sutherland
Many actors probably wish they could be as active as Donald Sutherland, who was born on July 17th, 1935.
